our 10 man will be down for a day. we are doing a over hall.
i couldn't figure out why some maps wouldnt run. i just finished making a mod to Becky's map for her and it wouldn't run.
so i picked it apart and figured out that it was calling for a texture that didn't exist. seems the map was orig built on a PC that has disk 1 and disk 2 of GOTY installed. when i figured this out by compareing files on server.. i noticed a size diff...
then it hit me.. only disk 1 is installed on server. so i asked for the second to be installed. after the server wouldn't reboot.
we have been working on this to solve the problem. nothing seems to work. to many files were over written.
so we are doing a complete install. just as if you were doing it at home. we tried to save all the maps and mods i had installed. so i wouldnt use gigs of band with again. it didnt work. so this time i have set up a time with the tech guy. i am going to walk him through what i need him to do.
after this... all maps should run on this server no problem.
just thought i would give you guys and gal a heads up. just incase you see it down.

i jus re-read and missed a fact. example. if you install disk 1 only. the file UtTech1.utx is around 10.6 megs. and if you install disk 2 the high res disk.
the file UtTech1.utx is around 27 megs. the game sees the files but doesn't see the diff textures... thats why some maps won't run.

i see server now, all maps deleted.
take your time.
i have a idea for map, show you when finish, maybe in 1 week, dunno , now work get hard, so when i have time gonna do it.

k server is running fine except for the 4 friggen maps that won't run.
cheesing me off. i know it is a bad file... but a bitch to find
the maps run on the 1V1 server fine.... i know one flippen thing... don't ever EVER use a free ver of ANY FTP to up your files to a game server... and def don't do a mass dumps... 
BTW Becky you map is on 1V1 server running smooth. i didn't add anything as you requested except remove BDC logo...as you know. i did leave Mavic's credit... i rename it for you... don't be pissed. i think it fits and matches your skills.. behold DM-~SiN~Killer_Queen
