can't wait need a new PSU now.. missing six pin and green don't work with the new colours...

i was after G.Skills sniper edition ram but buddy talked me out of it. the store is seeing a lot of them come back. lucked out with the board. they were going to flash it for me, free of charge. but it has the latest chip already

i cheaped out a bit on the CPU $60.00 more and i could have had the 8150FX.. but i won't complain.

this build is two years old...lol
guess you missed it last time around.
i just re-posted it so Daniel could see what can be done with coloured lume from the auto parts store...

wow, I can only wish to have a setup like that but I'm still happy with mine, I don't care for having the latest when I browse the internet, play UT, minecraft and develop apps for windows, those things can be done even on a low-end computer and... I can't finish properly my case mod because I just have no money for stuff to make it with, I only have a printer, transparent paper and stuff like that, I am really sorry. The project will take me some time, please don't push me too far Slatts, sir.

Daniel. there is never a push!...  :D

i guess you missed the repost... as Wilder missed it the first time around.

YOU were talking about paint and stuff... i told you you can find some cool stuff at a local auto parts store. the RED LUME you see in my case is what i was talking about. NOT MY SYSTEM....  :)

it's never about what you dont have... its about using what you got!

now keep in mind... i didnt build this over night.

i looked for deals. bought a piece here and there... i brought them home and put them away.
when i had enough pieces to start to build i did just that. (now mind you i went a WEE bit nuts in the last week ) as i was so close to finishing it up.

no one will ever expect you to build or keep up with anyone else !!!

yes when i built this machine i may have went overboard in some peoples eyes... but i expect to get at least 7 to 8 years out of this machine... with the exception of a video card or two.

Dude. you use what you got.. if it runs and plays UT... who cares?... not me.. lol

Posted by: DanielX on July 25 2014,11:31

Yea, well when you said to look at the auto-parts repair store I thought that you were telling me to buy paint and things like that, that's why I said don't push me. There has been a sort of misunderstanding and which I'm sorry too.
Posted by: slatts on July 26 2014,13:26

just meant you can get coloured tie wraps, lume, decals, sticker materals ect ect.
hobby stores are a good spot as well.

when you have the money

Posted by: DanielX on July 27 2014,16:11

Alright
Posted by: wilder on Aug. 29 2014,18:36

Your rig might be 2 years old... but it's still higher end than mine gaming rig!  ;-)

I got a little cute ITX gaming rig.  It's like a little bigger than a toaster.  Maybe I'll post pics -- once i recall how to do that on this forum.  hehehe
