I just picked up a copy. Had some great previews. No reviews yet. I got the demo from fileplanet it's awesome. Will put my opinion when I get a chance to play it.
One thing. For a collectable Director's Cut DVD package, this packaging SUCKS! They really should look at Doom3 for XBOX or Halo2's collector's packaging. I mean come on. It's cardboard box that I have to open from the top to get the DVD out. AND the dvd is inside a sleeve not even a jewel CASE! Come on! Definitely packaging for this is 1 star out of 5!.
On the side note, the bonus contents is pretty cool, contains a short film of events leading up to the game. Spookie. It kinda reminds me of movies like, the Ring, or the Grudge. Heck that girl looks like that evil girl in the ring!
Will add more when I get to play more of it. (BY THE WAY, both Quake4 and Call of Duty is coming out this month! Quake 4 tomorrow! woohooo!

Got it installed and tweaked and configure to be sure I dont get anything under 25FPS. But I had to set to 1024x768 at medium to maximum details.
I also just picked up Quake4 today! shoot what to play first? I know I aint getting any game time tonight, gotta sleep early. It will be likely this weekend before I get a chance to play.
If anyone already played, feel free to reply with your initial impressions.

Alright played it over the weekend and beat it. I'm a bit dissappointed mainly because it's too short. I mean evenm I beat it in a weekend and I didnt even play all night long. It is maybe 12-14 hours of single player gameplay? Felt a bit short for playing $49.99. Well atleast the rest is for multiplayer... that I dont really play (cant cheat on UT!
As far as the storyline... without giving away spoilers, it's an attempt at bringing japanese horror to gaming. The earie feel was more like "the Ring" or the "the Grudge" than anything. I'm a bit dissappointed that it isnt as scary as it could be. Most of the game was non-stop gun fighting with humans, so I'm too busy shooting to be scared. They should pace it out a bit more giving you more time to get scared and add a bit to the suspense. The beginning had some of these paces and was indeed had some scary moment. Then it stopped a 3rd of the way in, and it kept bombarding you with action. The storyline itself was not bad. The delivery fell a bit short for a horror, but was all there for action.
Speaking of action... the game will pat your back less than half way through as the baddest "mudderfugger" on the planet. and I'm quoting an NPC! When you get a complement like that, how can you get scared? You go in there with a evil grin on your face and be like, bring it beotches! dont care if your ded or alive, come get sum! The mechanics in the game is just awesome. It's like taking doom, hl2, and max payne and roll them together. and yes you are that badd-ass in the game.
Now the ending was dissappointing to me. But probably just me. What the heck happens to all games these days? in the old days, the biggest, baddest mudder baddie boss was at the end.
Doom has the Spider demon, Doom2 has the lord of evil himself, Doom3 has the badd ass giant Cyderdemon, you know a boss!
Halo2, weak ass boss fight... hell there isnt even one for the master chief! HL2... weak boss fight... F.E.A.R... weak! It felt almost like, it just ended. It was a bit of a cliffhanger ending, so they'll probably be a sequel.
GameInformer magazine has named it PC game of the month. and while I have not played Quake4, or Call of Duty yet, I'd say it's 4.5/5 stars. 0.5 short of perfect because of the minor flaws I mention.
