Those are the only two places I have ever gotten anything for my systems. But why only go for 800 mhz cpu when you should go for atleast 1 gig? Nice to see you tho, STRANGER!  :p

5 quick questions.

1/ who is footing the bill, you or your dad?

2/ what type of and speed of RAM ( ie: PC 133Mhz SDRAM or say...PC 2700 DDR )?

3/ what type of board do you have AMD or that Intel crap?

4/ how fast will curent board hold for a chip and bus speed?

5/ i understand cheap, but how much you willing to spend?

it cost just as much for 800mhz as it does for a 1.8ghz these days in stores.

You might find it on ebay for cheaper tho, someone might have a it laying around for sell for $10.

If you go to stores they might charge up to $80 for it.  A brand new AMD Sempron 2.8ghz can go as low as $80!  Even some celeron 2.0ghz are under $100
